General Summary 

Orum Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Director of Investor Relations. Reporting to the CFO, this position will own the Investor Relations process including maintaining and developing relationships with existing and potential shareholders, analysts, investment bankers and the media to ensure consistent messaging to internal and external stakeholders). 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities 

Acts as a spokesperson for all communication with the investment community regarding strategy, business model, financial results, and business initiatives. 

Plays key role in the quarterly earnings process—including assisting in preparation of quarterly financial press releases, conference call scripts, Q&A documents, and other associated materials. 

Leads cross-business unit and cross-functional team to prepare investor material for various investor events (e.g., investor conferences, quarterly investor meetings etc.). 

Oversee the full cycle of IR, Board of Directors, and Shareholders’ Meeting operations 

Provides materials and preparation of executives for investor questions. 

Works collaboratively with internal groups to provide sell-side/investor feedback and work to understand strategy and financial guidance. 

Acts as an internal consultant to bring industry, competitor and valuation information and perspectives from the investment community to senior management. 

In conjunction with CEO/CFO, leads and manages investor targeting efforts to identify, promote and encourage prospective institutional investors. 

Leverage to inform non-deal road shows, investor conference participation, investor meetings and daily calls with investors and analysts. 

Provides general support to CEO/CFO and work on ad-hoc projects as requested. 

Assist in capital raising efforts which includes presenting investment summaries, communicating with investors via phone, email, and in-person meetings. 

Provide responses to existing investor queries that are administrative in nature or related to their investments. This will include resolving issues with regard to the investor portal and answering questions around current projects and their performance. 

Assist the team in drafting and issuing investor reporting including monthly property updates, capital event updates, etc. 

Provide insight and details on the metrics related to the return on investment, along with what has been accomplished. 

Represent company during in-person events. 

Handles sensitive/confidential information requiring a high level of discretion. 

Lead IR team members by providing direction, coaching, and setting them up for success 
 

Skills, Abilities & Competencies 

8+ years of experience in investor relations and/or corporate communications with a Korean public company 

Advanced degree in life sciences and/or experience in biotech industry is a strong plus. 

Proven track record of success in investor relations and/or corporate communications preferred 

Experience creating investor presentations, scripts and press releases 

Strong leadership presence with the ability to interact at the executive level 

Proven ability to challenge the status quo and regularly think of ways to do things differently, more efficiently and with greater productivity 

Excellent judgment skills regarding people and information 

Exceptional verbal and written communications and presentation skills 

Strong ability to build relationships 

Highly motivated and creative individual who thinks strategically 

Outstanding financial and analytical skills 

Demonstrated aptitude for building and growing relationships in the investment community 

A firm grasp of investment strategy and financial analysis and a genuine interest in biotech is highly desirable. 

Consistent track record of success through high-net-worth investor relationships. 

Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

Sales and marketing experience a plus
 

Education- Bachelor’s degree in Bio or related field required

자격사항 

학력 : 대졸이상 (4년) 

경력 : 상장 기업 내 IR/공시 관련 업무 경력 8년 이상, 바이오 상장사 경력 우대 

비판적 사고와 문제 해결 능력 

내/외부와의 원활한 커뮤니케이션 능력 

비즈니스 영어

바이오 관련 전공
