Our core offering is a low-cost, evidence-based discretionary Model Portfolio Service (MPS) designed exclusively for financial planning firms, helping them deliver clearer strategies and better client outcomes with transparent pricing and smart portfolio design.

Our approach combines cutting-edge investment technology with disciplined, research-led portfolio construction. We automate much of the heavy lifting in portfolio management, so advisers can focus on relationship-building and financial planning rather than day-to-day investment operations.

The Role

We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our investment team, playing a hands-on role in implementing, maintaining, and supporting our Model Portfolio Service across a range of investment platforms. You’ll be comfortable taking ownership early on and working at pace in a growing, technology-driven environment.

Role & Responsibilities

Working within our Investment team, you will be responsible for:

Day-to-day management and operation of discretionary model portfolios for financial advice firms

Designing, improving, and maintaining processes for investment operations and associated tools

Administering and monitoring client portfolios, including cash management, rebalancing, and ongoing oversight

Responding to adviser queries and providing operational support throughout onboarding and across the ongoing client relationship

Building and maintaining effective relationships with platform partners, working collaboratively for the benefit of mutual clients

Maintaining a strong working knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements and applying these consistently in day-to-day activities

Supporting the migration of new client assets in a high-growth, fast-paced environment

Role Requirements

Core knowledge & experience:

Experience working in investment operations, platform operations, or a similar role within asset management, DFM, fintech, or a financial planning business

A solid understanding of model portfolio services and how they are implemented and maintained on investment platforms

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment

Confidence working with data, systems, and technology — you’re comfortable learning new tools and processes

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external providers

A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to take ownership of tasks from start to finish

Understanding of what financial advisers do and the challenges they face.

Highly numerate.

Ideal knowledge & experience:

Work experience in a DFM or MPS business.

Advanced Excel and VBA skills.

Knowledge of coding.
