Investment Counsellor, Private Wealth

Responsibilities

• Provide investment advisory across multi-asset classes (equities, fixed income, ETFs, funds, structured products, MMFs).
• Execute and monitor wealth management product flows, including structured notes, bonds, MMFs, and fund transactions.
• Conduct portfolio reviews, propose strategic/tactical asset allocation, and deliver customised investment solutions to HNW/UHNW, EAM/MFO, and institutional clients.
• Support Relationship Managers in client meetings, presenting investment views, portfolio recommendations, and idea generation.
• Produce concise market insights and investment commentaries to support client engagement and idea conversion.
• Coordinate with internal product, trading, and risk teams to ensure best execution, suitability, and compliance with MAS standards.
• Track market developments and proactively generate actionable trade ideas for clients and RMs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; CFA/CAIA preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in private banking, EAM/MFO, wealth advisory, or investment product specialist roles.
• Strong multi-asset investment knowledge, including equities, fixed income, funds, and structured products.
• Solid understanding of portfolio construction, risk profiling, and suitability frameworks.
• Confident communicator able to present investment ideas clearly to sophisticated clients.
• Strong analytical skills; comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
• High integrity, strong risk awareness, and adherence to regulatory standards (MAS licensing as applicable).
