Job Summary
The Inventory Technician provides foundational support in inventory operations, focusing on receiving, checking,
labeling, and maintaining medication and equipment stock. This position ensures accuracy and organization of
inventory records while assisting in maintaining compliance and safety standards under direct supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
Receive medication and supply deliveries.
Process ordering of medications, supplies, and equipment in coordination with purchasing teams.
Verify product information, NDCs, lot numbers, expiration dates, and quantities against purchase orders.
Accurately log received items into CPR+, SureCost, or other designated systems.
Maintain organized inventory storage areas in accordance with temperature and safety standards.
Label, clean, and store infusion pumps and other equipment following established protocols.
Assist in performing pump testing and equipment check-in as directed.
Support monthly maintenance reports and assist with pump swap scheduling.
Assist with medication restocking and supply organization.
Immediately report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to Inventory Technician II or Supervisor for timely
investigation and resolution.
Additional duties and responsibilities in different areas of the department on an as-need basis or determined
by management

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong listening/reading comprehension.
Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and follow direction in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Attentive to detail, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
Foundational understanding of inventory and equipment handling.
Basic knowledge of pharmacy terminology and NDC identification.
