Salary Range: $17.50/hr - $20.50/hr

JOB SUMMARY
The Retail Budtender/Inventory technician assists customers by providing product recommendations, sharing cannabis knowledge, maintaining a photo-ready, professional dress code; keeping their workstation tidy; staying current with federal , state, local and tribal cannabis information; properly organizing products: receiving, tagging, tubbing, vaulting of inbound and processing of cannabis goods for retail. When interacting with internal and external customers, they communicate complaints to upper management, build customer rapport, and collect feedback. Assist in opening and closing store duties, stocking shelves, ensuring the store is always clean and presentable for guests. Financial duties involve counting money and and inventory products, efficiently using point of sale and inventory software. The Retail Budtender/Inventory Technician will ensure the strict adherence to all applicable federal, state , tribal law, tribal ordnance, regulation, policies and procedures, or other standards required as a part of Tribal Nation Flower Company, a business entity of Chukchansi Wellness, Inc of the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians.
Essential Duties
Provide exceptional customer service skills and build customer rapport.
Re-home "put backs" accumulated at each Budtender station.
Execute cleaning and sanitation checklists.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of cannabis product displays, retail merchandise cases, sales stations ,vendor-sponsored displays and inventory room.
Collaborate with supervisory / management team to maintain policies, procedures, and regulatory activities.
Maintain an elevated knowledge of cannabis products, brand standards, and compliance.
Stay updated with communications and knowledge shared on Slack.
Ensure business goals, operational deadlines, and performance standards are met.
Manage traffic flow, minimize wait times, and maximize customer sales and satisfaction.
Responsible for cannabis production of but not limited to pre rolls, vape cartridges
Filling customers’ orders
Communicating live inventory needs to management team
Adhering to company policies and health, safety, and employment standards
Maintains cash handling standards
Maintains inventory handling standards
Any reasonable request by management
Responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record
Responsible for the accuracy of records and reports
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma / GED
Valid State issued Driver’s License
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must successfully pass a background check
Must successfully pass a drug test for all non-cannabis substances
Preferred Experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants are strongly preferred
Prior cannabis knowledge, education, or certification in the cannabis industry
Knowledge of customer marijuana policies, law, compliance, and regulations
3-5 years' experience in a similar role
Basic math skills

Familiarity with the Tribe’s Constitution, laws, and culture is preferred, but not required.
Ability to work in a high-performance, fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Adept at multi-tasking, have unquestionable integrity, with a commitment to accuracy.
Organized with unfailing attention to detail and outstanding project management skills.
High level of comfort/ease interacting with all levels in the Tribe.
Ability to translate complex legal issues and requirements into understandable terms for easy dissemination across the organization.
Ability to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner

In accordance with applicable Tribal law and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians (PRCI) Administration provides employment preference to enrolled PRCI Tribal Members. To qualify, applicants must submit valid proof of enrollment. Tribal Members who meet the minimum qualifications will be given preference in hiring, promotion, transfer, and layoff decisions. During the interview process, PRCI Tribal Members will receive an additional 7.5 points (10% of the 75-point interview rubric). Non-PRCI Native American candidates will receive an additional 5 points (6.7% of the total points) in accordance with Indian Preference guidelines.
INDIAN PREFERENCE STATEMENT:
In compliance with 25 CFR Part 276 and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Sections 701(b) and 703(i), employment preference shall be given to qualified applicants who are enrolled members of the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians, and secondarily, to another qualified American Indian/Alaska Native Candidate.
