Job Description
We are a small, independent retail store in South Surrey looking to hire a Full-Time Inventory Receiver & Stock Room Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team and make an impact in the daily operations of our store. Not suitable for Students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, unload, and inspect deliveries of kitchen tools stock and inventory.
• Organize and maintain stockroom in an efficient and tidy manner.
• Ensure inventory is accurately tracked and entered into our system. We are using Lightspeed Retail.
• Assist with restocking shelves and displays as needed.
• Perform regular stock counts and handle any discrepancies.
• Maintain a safe and orderly environment in the stockroom.
• Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb stairs with ease.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in inventory or stockroom coordination is an asset.
• Positive attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed.
