Position: Inventory Control Clerk

As an Inventory Control Clerk at Parallel Employment, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting physical counts, and ensuring the proper storage and distribution of materials. This position requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills to help manage stock levels and reduce discrepancies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the database and reports.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure proper stock levels.
• Assist in updating inventory control procedures and policies.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials.
• Organize and store items in the DC
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse environment preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• 1-3 years of warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
• Cycle Count, Inventory, warehouse, general Labor, Forklift, Quality Control, Loader/Unloader, Cherry Picker, Order Picker, Order Picking, Shipping, Outbound, RF, WMS, Reach Truck
• Required 6 months experience in Inventory Control to include: Cycle counting, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving and monitoring inventory levels.
• Required 6 months experience with WMS or similar systems such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP
