Job Description:
The Inventory Clerk – Data Analysis is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records while supporting data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role combines hands-on inventory control activities with analytical responsibilities to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, material flow, and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate inventory records through system transactions, physical counts, and reconciliation.
Perform cycle counts, audits, and variance investigations to ensure inventory accuracy.
Support receiving, storage, and material movement processes in accordance with established procedures.
Ensure proper documentation and traceability of materials, parts, and finished goods.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with warehouse and operations teams to resolve root causes.
Collect, analyze, and validate inventory and operational data and other systems.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports, including accuracy metrics, adjustments, trends, and KPIs.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
Assist in maintaining dashboards, trackers, and data models for inventory performance monitoring.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and reports.
Who You Are:
2–4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related role.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
Experience working with inventory systems such as WMS or ERP platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work with data sets, reports, and spreadsheets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation); experience with Power BI, SQL, or Python is a plus.
Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
