Primary Function of Position:
The Inventory Analyst 2 is responsible for analyzing, improving and maintaining optimal inventory health to support efficient operations and evolving business needs across the 3PL network. This role requires strong analytics capabilities, clear communication, cross functional collaboration, sound judgement, and well-structured inventory planning & compliance. The analyst drives accuracy, prevents shortages, identifies risks and supports continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Essential Job Duties:
Inventory Accuracy & Root Cause Analysis
• Analyze recurring discrepancy patterns and implement proactive corrective actions.
• Perform in-depth root cause analysis for complex exceptions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve material master related discrepancies.
Inventory Health, Monitoring & Optimization
• Analyze inventory data to report trends, risks and opportunities from improvement.
• Identify overstated quantities in the system that may impact end customers and prevent material shortages.
• Monitor inventory levels to support operational reliability.
• Identify and resolve expired or at-risk inventory.
Cross-Functional Issue Resolution
• Investigate and resolve inventory issues related to stock transfer orders across internal & 3PL plants.
• Act as a liaison between Inventory Control and broader operation groups.
• Reporting & Communication
• Prepare and present inventory reports, KPIs and insights to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Use data to influence decision-making and optimize inventory strategies.
• Provide mentorship by sharing inventory knowledge and analytical insights with team members.
Process Governance & System Controls
• Maintain Kanban systems that align with operational replenishment strategies.
• Participating in UAT sign-off for system or process changes.
Continuous Improvement & Project Support
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement in Inventory Accuracy and processes.
• Support operational readiness efforts, analytics projects and ongoing process enhancements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 5 years in warehouse, inventory control experience
• Analytical Skills: ability to interpret complex data, perform trend analysis, and translate insights in actionable recommendations via Excel.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings, and collaborating with stakeholders
• Liaison Skills: Proven ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate between departments
• Decision-Making Skills: sound judgment in evaluating options and recommending inventory actions under varying conditions
• Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Required Education and Training
• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent 5 years of experience in inventory management or related area.
Working Conditions
• Ability to lift 35 pounds
• Extensive walking
Preferred Skills and Experience
• Ability to multi-task.
• Fanatically Organized.
• SAP, Agile and Tableau software experience preferred.

This position may be filled at a different job level than listed here depending on
business need and/or on the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge and skills.
Compensation will be based primarily on the job level at which the role is filled and the
candidate’s qualifications, consistent with applicable law.
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
