Intune Packaging Engineer – Microsoft & Azure Endpoint Stack

Role Overview

Atlas Systems is looking for a hands-on Intune Packaging Engineer with strong experience across the Microsoft & Azure endpoint ecosystem. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise application packaging, deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting using Intune in large-scale environments.

This is a pure engineering role — not coordination or support-only.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end application packaging and deployment using Microsoft Intune

Create, test, and deploy:

Win32 applications

MSI / EXE

MSIX / APPX

Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for packaging, detection, and remediation

Manage application upgrades, supersedence, detection rules, and requirement rules

Troubleshoot Intune deployment and installation failures

Work closely with endpoint, infrastructure, security, and cloud teams

Support Azure-integrated endpoint environments

Package and maintain new and legacy enterprise applications

Ensure deployments meet enterprise security and compliance standards

Support production rollouts and critical incidents

Maintain documentation for packaging standards, processes, and known issues

Mandatory Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) – Mandatory

Expert-level application packaging skills

Win32 app packaging in Intune

Strong PowerShell scripting

Experience with MSI, EXE, MSIX packaging

Windows 10 / Windows 11 enterprise endpoint management

Experience working in Microsoft & Azure endpoint ecosystems

Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills

Good to Have

SCCM / MECM (co-management scenarios)

Autopilot and device provisioning

Experience in large enterprise environments

Packaging tools (AdminStudio, Advanced Installer, etc.)

Exposure to endpoint security, compliance, and conditional access
