Job Title: Interpreting Project Manager
Reporting to: Director of Interpretation Solutions - US
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Salary: $25,000 to $30,000 USD

SUMMARY
The successful candidate will be a detail oriented, self-motivated, highly organized person who has the ability to manage multiple both translation and interpreting projects with varying deadlines without compromising quality. The Project Manager should be interested in a career in the localization industry and project management.
Proven organization, communication, customer service and computer skills are also required.
The Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the completion of all language projects, from quoting to delivery to the client as well as scheduling and recruiting for in person and remote interpreting assignments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interpreting:
• Serve as the first point of contact for interpreting service inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Schedule and coordinate interpreter assignments for in-person, telephonic, and virtual appointments.
• Maintain up-to-date interpreter availability and contact information.
• Prepare and distribute schedules, confirmations, and service reminders.
• Enter and update client and interpreter data in scheduling and billing systems.
• Process timesheets, invoices, and documentation for interpreter services.
• Support compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist with onboarding and credentialing of new interpreters.
• Generate reports and support department audits as needed.
Knowledge, skills and experience required:
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in interpretation and localization project management
• Minimum of 1–2 years of administrative or scheduling experience; experience in healthcare or language services is a plus.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in English; proficiency in a second language is a plus
• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• University degree (preferably in linguistic/translation related studies)
• Proven multi-tasking skills, ability to work under strict deadlines
• Fast learner with the ability to pick up new skills and technologies
• Common sense with exceptional problem-solving skills
• Good at interacting with people, ability to work within a team and by yourself
• Ability to work well with linguists from different cultures and time zones
• Performs well under pressure with the ability to manage multiple projects and linguists at the same time.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office tools and Trados Studio
• Experience with DTP and applications such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Framemaker and Photoshop is a plus
• Proven successful communication and interaction with clients
• Experience with TMS Plunet Business Manager preferred
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
