One World Global Services (OWGS) is seeking an Interpreter Trainer to help prepare newly recruited interpreters for operational readiness.
This role is responsible for delivering interpreter training programs, coaching candidates during their onboarding journey, and ensuring interpreters are fully prepared to meet quality and client service expectations before entering production.
You will play a key role in transforming recruitment pipelines into certified, production-ready interpreters.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver interpreter training sessions using established training programs
• Guide trainees through interpreter protocols, call handling standards, and operational procedures
• Facilitate practice sessions, exercises, and mock call evaluations
• Assess interpreter readiness and certification eligibility
• Provide coaching and feedback to improve trainee performance
• Track trainee progress and report training outcomes
What We Are Looking For
• Experience in training, facilitation, or interpreter development programs
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to coach and develop interpreter skills
• Experience in language services, call centers, or training environments preferred
• Ability to manage virtual training sessions effectively
