Internship Program, DT&A Project Lead Computer Vision & AI

Within the global Digital, Technology & Analytics (DT&A) organization, you will join a dynamic team driving innovation across supply chains, operations, and research. You will work in a fast-paced, international environment that values collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning. 

In this role, the intern will take an active role in coordinating projects to enhance LDC’s operations. The intern will collaborate closely with AI architects, engineers, data scientists, and regional business teams to develop, test and evaluate the performance and stability of computer-vision models for specific use cases. This may include supporting dataset creation, validating feature extraction logic, assisting with model integration into production workflows, and strengthening feedback mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement.  

This internship offers strong exposure to LDC’s global business environment. Engaging with teams across various sectors provides a unique opportunity to understand how AIdriven solutions supports commercial decisionmaking, risk assessment, and performance optimization within the commodities business. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Support and manage ongoing AI projects across several key platforms 

• Analyze qualitative and quantitative inputs to help structure problem statements, recommendations, and evaluate solutions 

• Coordinate teams during the development and testing of the computer vision and AI models  

• Prepare presentations and documentation for steering committees, reviews, and leadership updates on the projects 

• Organize meetings, workshops, and follow-ups with cross-functional stakeholders across regions and teams 

• Gather and consolidate inputs from teams (AI architects, engineers, data scientists, traders, data analysts) monitor progress, gather feedback and identify problems/solutions 

• Assist in developing and testing the AI models in specific conditions and provide meaningful insights

What we are looking for:

• Strong knowledge in IT, computer vision and AI development 

• Good understanding of data analytics and forecasting methods    

• Ability to process new concepts and information quickly  

• Excellent problem‑solving skills 

• Ability to work rigorously and independently while managing multiple tasks 

• Leadership and communication skills 

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sense of ownership 

 

Skills and Experience:  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s student/graduate in Data/Computer Science, Engineering, AI or related field. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and structured documentation. 

• Previous experience in Machine Learning projects is a plus 

 

Languages:  

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken 

Internship duration:

• A period of 5 to 6 months
