The company has three manufacturing sites and research and development offices in Penang, producing automotive electronics, power tools and steering systems, and now a fourth plant with a final testing centre for sensors and semiconductors.

PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production commenced in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

Are you passionate about data analytics, business intelligence, and Oracle APEX? Join our team as IT solution developer and get hands-on experience building dynamic dashboards and web applications while optimizing data processes to drive business decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Build Power BI Dashboards: Create interactive, visually appealing dashboards that provide actionable business insights.
• Develop Web Apps with Oracle APEX: Design and maintain intuitive web applications to streamline reporting and business processes.
• Data Preparation & Transformation: Use SQL and Power Query to clean, transform, and structure data for reporting and application use.
• Write & Optimize SQL Queries: Extract data from databases using SQL, optimize queries for better performance, and ensure accurate, reliable reporting.
• Design Data Models & ETL Pipelines: Help build and maintain efficient data models and ETL processes to ensure smooth data flow and scalability.
• Document Data Processes: Maintain clear documentation of data models, workflows, and APEX applications for future scalability and maintenance.

What We’re Looking For

• Full-time student in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server)
• Familiarity with Power BI and Oracle APEX (or a desire to learn!)
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Fluent in English & Malay, with excellent communication skills
• Self-driven, adaptable, and a team player
• Available for a 6-month internship starting Q1 2026 or later
