Job description

We are looking for candidate who are enthusiastic about working with Java and want to make a career in this area. The ideal candidates should have a technical degree (engineering, science, etc…). EITS will work with successful candidates to help train them (On-the-Job-Training) over a 2 month period of time. Upon successful completion of the Internship, the intention is to bring a successful candidate in as a Junior Programmer. The successful candidate will be partnered with an experienced programmer.

Core Deliverable and Accountabilities:

In the role of Intern Java Software Developer, you will help develop EITS solutions to ensure that they are fit to be implemented towards our customers. This role demands a high degree of accountability and will require someone who has an ability to work under both time and project pressures. An ability to work in a high security environment is essential.

Key Deliverable & Responsibilities include:

Work with R&D Manager & Project Managers to ensure quality and timeliness of projects

Work under tight deadlines to deliver quality, robust software

Work closely with the Support organization

Review user & customer documentation

Help to write Test Specifications from Requirements & Functional Specifications

Interact with other team members to discuss & review faults

Walkin between 10:30am - 4pm
