Internship – Commercial Real Estate Leasing, Boulder (Summer 2026)

BioMed has a Commercial Real Estate Leasing internship available in its Boulder based office for students majoring in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.

Internship Objectives

The Commercial Real Estate Leasing Intern will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of commercial real estate for the life sciences sector, helping to develop skills in analytics, industry terminology, negotiations, problem-solving, collaboration, and business development. The Intern will be paired with the Leasing department to achieve department-specific objectives and complete project(s) as outlined by the Intern’s Manager.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Performing data analysis work on tenant leases, real estate market trends and economic conditions impacting real estate

• Conduct company, property and industry-specific research and summarizing research on tenants, prospects, and potential growth locations.

• Shadowing members of the Boulder team on property tours, lease negotiations, meetings with consultants and clients and prospects and internal meetings

• Assist in developing and preparing marketing and presentation materials.

• Participating in Boulder office events, outings, lunch-and-learns, volunteer events, community engagement and more.

• Completing a research project on a real estate topic and presenting at the end of the summer (Capstone).

• Research and evaluate emerging A.I. tools for leasing related functions. Collaborate with cross functional team members to identify opportunities for A.I. usage and adoption.

Job Specifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university as a rising junior or senior (undergraduate only).

• Strong interest in learning more about the commercial real estate market.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Suite including Excel and PowerPoint applications.

• Real Estate, finance majors preferred but not required.

• Strong organizational skills and attentive to detail

• Ability to work on projects independently and contribute to a team-based environment.

• Preference given to students who have completed REAL 4100 or equivalent.

Schedule

The Commercial Real Estate Leasing Intern position will run from June 2026 through August 2026. The intern is expected to work Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM, at the Boulder, Colorado office. The schedule may be adjusted based on departmental needs.

Hourly Wage

$25.00 per hour for undergraduate only.
