Job Description

You are joining our Global Securities Financing team, who is looking for a Structurer , for a 6-month internship from January 2026.

Within the trading room of Natixis, you will assist the structuring team of the division «Global Securities Financing» («GSF») in the design, origination and implementation of financing operations which are essentially repo operations on financial instruments (bonds, shares) as well as funding of funds («NAV Financing»).

The structuring team intervenes on complex operations, requiring particular structuring in order to meet the needs and constraints of clients and the bank.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main missions will be:

Develop, in collaboration with the sales team, the commercial offer of the operation, as well as the preparation of customer and product pitches;
Analyze the market risk of operations (such as price volatility and liquidity of funded securities);
Participate in writing memos for the attention of risk departments (credit and market);
Participate in setting up a transaction, notably by drafting the legal documentation or by analyzing the accounting and prudential impacts for the client and/or the bank;
Optimizing the consumption of rare resources (RWA, LCR, NSFR) of operations for the bank;
Automate processes and maintain existing macros and code on VBA/Python for in-stock operations

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Student at the BAC+4/5 level, you are preparing a degree (university, business school or engineering school), with a specialization in market finance.
You have a good financial culture, with knowledge of financing products used in a market environment (repo, reverse repo, TRS on bonds, securities lending).
You must have minimum knowledge of banking regulations (LCR, NSFR, RWA).
You are comfortable with simple simulation and statistical analysis methods used to measure market risks.
You demonstrate curiosity, knowing how to work in a team and interact with team members.
You master data manipulation in Excel and are able to use VBA/Python.
You have a good command of English (oral and written).
You know how to present yourself well orally.
