Job Description

You are joining our MS PNL (Metrics Services Profit & Loss) team, which is looking for a Data Engineer for a 6-monthinternship, starting from February 2026.

The service, composed of about ten people, corresponds to the Big Data teams working on the P&L.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

Develop, test and deliver the functionalities required by the business;
Ensure the smooth progress of production by providing support to support during critical issues;
Perform technology monitoring and manage the maintenance of our perimeter.
The 3 perimeters covered by these teams are :
The calculation of Fair Value Adjustments (FairVA) and AVAs ;
DOPDOR calculation: provision of P&L related to the observability of an instrument;
The explanation of P&L by sensitivities. This helps explain the variation in P&L between two days by different market effects: volatility, evolution of the underlying value, interest rate, etc.
As a member of this team, you will participate in improving these three perimeters. The tasks are very diverse: sometimes functional in the implementation of a new business rule, sometimes technical for process optimization. We will particularly appreciate your curiosity and your motivation to take initiatives.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

BAC+5 level student preparing a degree (university, business school or engineering school), with a specialization in Data Engineering. You have knowledge in programming languages allowing distributed computing (Spark/Scala, Python, SQL, Git, Kubernetes for testing). You have excellent interpersonal skills and a very good ability to listen. You are recognized for your logical mind, your rigor, and your curiosity. And finally, you speak English perfectly.
