Job Description

POSITION AND MISSIONS
You are joining our Regulatory & Transversal Monitoring team within the Market Risk department of Natixis CIB who is looking for a Market Risk Analyst Assistant for a 6-month internship from June/July 2026.

The team contributes to monitoring Global Markets market risks on cross-functional topics (risk mapping on the different trading desks, monitoring qualitative limits by Fixed Income/XVA trading mandates,...), to monitoring internal models (Var Backtesting, RIM Backtesting, RNIME ...), and finally to numerous regulatory exercises (EBA Stress Test, EBA Benchmarking,...).

In collaboration with your tutor, your main missions will be: ,

To assist the RTM team in its mission of risk monitoring through the improvement/automation of analyses by business line;
Continuation of the analysis and optimization of the process for explaining XVA Stress Tests by sensitivities;
Automate reporting for regulatory requests & for internal needs (stress recalibration);
Modernize internal tools to implement advanced analysis techniques via programming languages.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Student at the Bac+4/5 level, you are preparing a university degree, from a business school or an engineering school, with a specialization in Market Finance.
You have a good command of Excel, VBA and Python. You know the financial instruments, how they work and their market risks.
You are rigorous, responsive and have a good capacity for analysis and listening. You know how to be proactive in project management, take initiatives and demonstrate autonomy in managing the assigned missions.
