Role: Internet of Things (IOT) Architect
Duration: Full Time / Permanent
Location: Benton Harbor, MI

1. Working experience in various IoT (Internet of Things) technologies including Mobility, Java/.NET middleware, M2M, Cloud and Big Data.
2. Design and implement POCs on cutting edge IoT platforms.
3. Preferred to have knowledge of IBM Bluemix IoT services and/or Cloud Foundry PaaS.
4. Candidate must have knowledge of big data with working knowledge on at least one NoSQL database like MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.

Overall Skills
5. Full life cycle experience, responsible for the development of a complete set of architectural views
6. Experience of at least one of the commonly-used methods, notations and tools (E.g. Rational Suite, Artisan, System Architect, UML, RUP, others)
7. Experience of software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development
8. Led pre-sales solutioning and customer presentations
9. Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design.
10. Systems thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking)
11. Knowledge of the business for which the enterprise architecture is being developed
12. Interpersonal and leadership skills - Communication(written/spoken), collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills
13. Strong business analysis skills and experience, including functional decomposition, requirements capture, process modelling. Strong knowledge of design and architectural patterns.
14. Sound knowledge of common architecture frameworks

Good to have
1. He/She must be comfortable with leading a cross-functional team of architects and analysts within business, application/systems, data/information and technical architecture disciplines.
2. He/She must be experienced in presenting and explaining the architectural views to clients at all levels from technical/IT staff to Board/Director.
3. Played significant role in propagating/selling/revenue generation on significant solution accelerators/differentiators/IP
4. Played significant role in business development for large customers

5. Presented papers/technical forum participation in global forum
