Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced International Business Development Manager to lead and expand business operations across key South American markets, including Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Brazil (business development and regulatory support), Paraguay, Uruguay, and Bolivia.
This role carries full business ownership for the region, including revenue growth, regulatory alignment, distributor management, market expansion strategy, and P&L accountability. The ideal candidate will drive both existing business performance and strategic expansion into underpenetrated or untapped markets.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Regional Business Ownership
• Lead business operations across assigned LATAM markets with complete P&L responsibility.
• Drive growth in both established and low-penetration markets through strategic planning and execution.
• Develop and implement region-specific business strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Business Development & Market Expansion
• Identify and appoint distributors and strategic partners across the region.
• Drive out-licensing opportunities and strategic collaborations.
• Participate in Ministry of Health (MOH) tenders and government procurement processes.
• Strengthen key account management initiatives to deepen market presence.
Regulatory & Commercial Coordination
• Oversee regulatory compliance and support market registration processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Regulatory Affairs, PPIC, PMT, and Packaging Development to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure timely product launches and uninterrupted supply chain operations.
Financial Planning & Performance
• Prepare annual budgets and conduct business forecasting.
• Monitor revenue, margins, and overall financial performance for the region.
• Ensure achievement of profitability targets and long-term sustainability.
Customer & Relationship Management
• Drive CRM initiatives to enhance distributor and customer engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across LATAM markets.
