The Summer Academy Program Coordinator will develop and manage a comprehensive four-week summer program of onsite activities for the enrichment, attendance and academic programs. He/she will coordinate activities and staffing to provide a seamless operation ensuring student safety and full participation in activities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage a program of enrichment activities for students enrolled in the Summer Enrichment Program, including organizing field trips
Conduct the hiring and supervision of all staff for the summer programs
Manage all operations and facilities of the summer program, including arrival, dismissal, and lunch
Create a master schedule for weekly enrichment projects with descriptive planned projects by all staff
Maintain attendance records for staff and students, liaise with the Business Office for all personnel and payroll issues; and submit purchase orders for materials
Complete narrative and report documents for School Administration, Board of Trustees, and funders
Communicate with parents regarding attendance and discipline
Collect data on efficacy of the summer academic program
Communicate with Heads of School regarding attendance during summer programming
Organize an end of year summer event for all students and staff of the Summer Program
Collaborate with the ELL Coordinator to plan and manage the ELL Summer Academy
Experience/Qualifications:
Master's Degree preferred, Bachelor's required in Education, School Administration, or related field, or a combination of related education and/or experience.
3 years' experience in School Administration preferred
Excellent communications skills – oral and written
Strong management skills: supervision, organization, multi-tasking
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Schedule: Monday, June 22, 2026 - Friday, July 17, 2026 (excluding Friday, July 3, 2026)
Hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Stipend Amount: $40.00 per hour
