2. Development, Testing & Execution
Product Evolution: Lead the ongoing development and improvement of internal software, specifically focusing on the optimization of our GIS, PM and other tools.
Experimentation & Innovation: Assist in designing and executing technical experiments to test new features or workflows before full-scale deployment.
QA & Release Oversight: Oversee the entire quality assurance, testing, and release process to ensure that all software updates are stable and high-performing.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our proprietary tools remain at the cutting edge.
3. Team Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Leading Technical Teams: Direct and mentor cross-functional software development teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
Organizational Collaboration: Work closely with other teams in the organization, to ensure software updates align with operational needs.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for project updates, managing expectations across the company and providing regular status reports to the team.
4. Risk Management & Problem Solving
Mitigation Strategies: Proactively identify project risks, technical debt, or potential bottlenecks; develop and execute mitigation plans to keep initiatives on track.
Process Improvement: Identify friction points in how the team builds software and implement new technologies or processes to improve internal efficiency.
