Internal Job Posting – TS Dump Truck Driver Floater (2 Available Positions)
Position Summary
We are currently seeking two (2) experienced Dump Truck Drivers to serve as Floaters. These positions will perform the full scope of Dump Truck Driver duties but will not have a permanently assigned route. Instead, Floaters will provide operational coverage wherever needed to support asphalt operations.
Floaters must be available to workday shift, Monday through Saturday, and willing to travel to various locations if needed as operational needs require.
This role is ideal for drivers who demonstrate exceptional flexibility, leadership, and teamwork, and who have earned a strong reputation as safe, productive, and dependable drivers.
Pay Differential
Selected candidates will earn an additional $2.00 per hour in recognition of the added flexibility, leadership expectations, and operational support required for the Floater role.

Primary Duties
Floaters will continue to perform all responsibilities outlined in the Dump Truck Driver job description, including:
Safe operation of dump trucks hauling materials
Compliance with company, State, and Federal regulations
Pre-trip and post-trip inspections and vehicle care
Effective communication regarding site conditions, routes, and changing assignments
Occasional assistance with general labor and housekeeping tasks as required
Additional Expectations for the Floater Role
High degree of schedule, route, and location flexibility
Availability to workday shift, Monday through Saturday
Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed
Willingness to step into varying operational needs on short notice
Professionalism and composure in dynamic or high-pressure situations
Active participation and leadership in the TS Passport Training Program, serving as a key resource to support onboarding, skill development, and consistency across operations
Eligibility
This opportunity is open to current TS Dump Truck Drivers who meet all existing qualifications, certifications, and physical requirements of the position and have demonstrated strong performance, safety, and reliability.
Floater assignments will be assigned through the remainder of 2026. Floater positions will be posted each January, with selections made each Spring.
