US Synthetic has an immediate need for a Bearings CNC Trainer I Apprentice located in Orem, UT. The Bearings CNC Trainer I Apprentice will assist in day-to-day training in the BTT Office and on the Bearings production floors. Aid certified trainers in using the training modules. Create and expand the training capabilities. Assist the shift Training Coordinator in developing and executing training plans and work in production occasionally as the business needs.

What You Will Do:
Train CNC production and support team employees
Assist others in their trainings
Maintain accountability and inventory of training modules and materials within the BTT Office
Schedule your daily standard work in support of the needs of the customer and team(s)
Align with and follow up on the Training Coordinator’s training plans
Assist in educating all employees in people development systems
Work in production factories maintaining process skills (as needed)
Active role in MI Updates and verification of new standards being integrated
Safety Champion – Safety focus through training best known methods & practices
Track BTT performance through KPI’s – Individual impact on team performance
Collaborate with leaders to solve training issues – create the best available plan and execute
Provide feedback to leaders regarding employee’s progress
Ensure materials presented in the training programs reflect the most recent updates
Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8pm – 6:30 am - Flex schedule to cover either need on grave shift
Follow all company policies (Attendance, No Tobacco Products on Campus, Illegal Drug & Alcohol, Family Medical Leave Act, Personal Appearance, Personal Electronic Devices, Vacation & Personal Time, etc.)
Creation of added content (documentation: JBS, CK, RC, Form, Modules, Simulators etc.) as well as editing existing content for spelling, grammar, accuracy, correct writing style, simplicity.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED is required
Immigration sponsorship not available for this role
One year Bearings experience
Has completed the P1, A1 and B1 pathway
Physical Demands:
Stand for prolonged periods of time up to 12 hours
Lifting, kneeling, squatting, and twisting
Occasionally lift/ move up to 50 lbs.
Speaking/active listening
Use of PPE where required
Preferred Qualifications:
TWI/JI certified
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
