Internal Control Specialist

Job Description

Your role 

•You manage, execute and support the process of quarterly and annual testing and reporting on the design and operating effectiveness of internal control; 
•You review, assess, evaluate and conclude on the nature of control deficiencies, adequacy of remediation plans and/or compensating controls, where applicable; 
•You support development of remediation plans where applicable, follow-up on action items. 
•You provide training and support to control owners on internal control execution and documentation.  
•You support in developing control (self) assessment processes, templates and (GRC) tooling
•You support maturing the Internal Control function through smarter use of technology in the form of dashboarding, tooling and AI.
•You ensure a high level of quality with focus on efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls 
•You act as a sparring partner for local, regional and corporate management; 
•You provide support during implementation of systems and applications that impact Internal Controls, including the global roll-out of a new ERP system.
