Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?
Directly reporting to both the Chair of the Audit Committee and the Group CEO, Internal Audit provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the Group’s operations. The mission of internal audit is to enhance and protect organizational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight to the Board and executive management.
Currently, we are looking for an Internal Auditor to support our small but dynamic, agile and experienced Internal Audit team in Luxembourg.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
Designing audit programs to assess effectiveness of controls of high-risk business areas,
End-to-end delivery of internal audit assignments in line with the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF),
Documenting test results in working papers to support audit conclusions,
Formulating practical recommendations and preparing comprehensive and meaningful audit reports to Executive Management and the Audit & Risk Committee,
Following up on the implementation of audit recommendations,
Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders in Utmost International Group, including business areas and other control functions,
Assisting in developing the audit function by continuously improving the department’s way of working,
Participating in the development and use of continuous auditing methods and tools.
Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Internal Auditor?
Experienced/qualified Internal Auditor with 2-4 years of relevant experience,
Curious, proactive, team player and fast learner,
Positive and doer attitude,
Strong client relationship management skills,
Sound understanding of the financial services sector in Europe, preferably wealth management and life insurance,
CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA or other relevant professional certification is highly desired,
Good knowledge of risk-based audit techniques,
Dependable and reliable with strong attention to detail,
Strong ability to multitask,
Excellent written and oral communication skills,
Strong analytical, organizational and presentation skills,
Strong IT and Data Analytical skills,
International experience preferred,
Fluency in English. Knowledge of any additional European languages is an asset,
