We are seeking a highly motivated and result driven Internal Audit professional, with energy and have can-do attitude, who thrives in a fast-paced, agile, and empowering environment and who wants to be part of a growing team of likeminded individuals who deliver solutions in an innovative and exciting environment.  We are looking for Internal Audit Specialist with a strong technology and IT background to join our growing fintech organization. This role is ideal for professionals with 4–6 years of experience in internal audit, IT audit, or technology risk management.

The successful candidate will be part of our Risk, Compliance and Assurance function and will report to the Head of Internal Audit. They will play a key role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and range of the company’s business and governance processes, with a focus on IT General Controls, technology platforms and integrations, IT systems lifecycle, AI/ML models, cloud infrastructure, data governance and information security.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate their analytical capabilities and communicational skills to translate audit findings into clear, actionable insights that add value to the business. They will achieve that by working closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, operations, compliance, and finance, helping the company scale securely while maintaining strong control frameworks and operational discipline.

What you will do

• Plan, execute, and deliver risk-based internal audits to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls across operations, systems and business processes.
• Develop written reports and communicate audit results, providing clear and actionable insights and making recommendations to management, where appropriate.
• Partner with technology, product, risk, and compliance teams or other relevant stakeholders to understand systems, processes, and emerging risks.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Assist with the development of annual audit plan.
• Promote a culture of strong internal controls and accountability.
• Contribute to automation and data-driven approaches in the audit function.

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, information technology or another related field. Master's Degree in relevant fields will be considered an asset.
• Professional Certification (e.g. CIA, CISA, CRISC, CRISP, ACCA, CFE) completed or in progress.
• Additional specialized skills or qualifications in ITGC, Data Analytics and Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery are preferred and an advantage.
• Ability to translate technical findings into business insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• 4-6 years of professional working experience as an Internal Auditor.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Interest in keeping up to date with the latest developments, professional standards and best practices in internal auditing.
