Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Working Student or Intern (all genders) to support our Systems Engineering team and help develop a strong understanding of interfaces while contributing to the design of robust system solutions.
You can expect a role with real impact, a high level of responsibility, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. This is not a purely theoretical Systems Engineering role, but a hands-on combination of system understanding, structuring, and interdisciplinary teamwork.
In particular, you will support us with:
• Creating and maintaining system specifications, architecture, and interface documentation
• Contributing to the development of P&IDs and system layouts for various applications
• Supporting system testing, including analysis and documentation of results
• Collaborating closely with hardware, software, and testing teams
• Conducting research on components and their scalability in early development phases
• Building a library for model-based system-level analyses
• Supporting the optimization of requirements management processes
Requirements:
• Enrolled student (all genders) in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Initial knowledge of fuel cell systems
• Familiarity with Systems Engineering methods (e.g. requirements management, system architecture)
• First experience with tools (e.g. DOORS, Polarion) or Python/Excel
• Structured and analytical way of working
• Interest in system interdependencies (hardware, software, integration)
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in a team
• Independent and proactive work style
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
