About the team:

The Sports Content team at Jiostar plays a pivotal role in shaping the overall broadcast experience for viewers. The team is responsible for curating, developing, and executing sports content that not only enhances live match coverage but also builds compelling narratives around the game.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in ideation and development of original digital IPs and social-first content
• Brainstorm and pitch creative concepts around live matches, tournaments, athletes, and trends
• Support the creation of short-form and long-form video content (reels, shorts, promos, explainers)
• Work closely with producers, editors, and social teams to shape compelling sports narratives
• Track trends across Instagram, YouTube, X, and other platforms and adapt them to our IPs
• Help with research, scripting, captions, and basic edit guidance where required
• Be actively involved during live matches and major sporting events for real-time content idea
