Position Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical college student to join our team as a Sales Operations Intern. This role is ideal for junior, senior, or graduate students pursuing a degree in business, data analytics, information systems, marketing, operations, or a related field.
As a Sales Operations Intern, you will work closely with commercial, operations, and data teams to support critical data integrity initiatives across our CRM and business systems. This role offers hands-on experience in managing and improving the quality, consistency, and usability of sales and customer data in a fast-paced medical device environment.
This paid internship will run from mid-June to September and is based on-site at our Carlsbad, CA office.
This is a learning-focused opportunity designed to provide exposure to sales operations, CRM systems, and data-driven decision-making within the healthcare and medical technology industry.
Responsibilities
Support data integrity initiatives within CRM and related business systems
Conduct audits and cleanup projects
Assist in maintaining and enhancing structured data fields, including
Identify inconsistencies, duplicates, and gaps in CRM data and propose solutions
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and IT teams to improve data quality and usability
Assist in documenting processes, data standards, and best practices
Support reporting and analytics efforts by ensuring clean and reliable datasets including the use of PowerBI
Participate in team meetings and present progress on assigned projects
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a junior, senior, or graduate-level program in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Marketing, Operations, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement
Proficiency in Excel or similar tools; experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, servis.ai) is a plus but not required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Interest in sales operations, data management, or healthcare/medical technology is a plus.
