Internship Opportunity – Material Testing Laboratory (Chemical Testing)
The Material Testing Laboratory is seeking an intern from a background in Pure or Applied Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Materials Science to support activities within the chemical testing function.
The intern will be involved in the following tasks:
• Conduct chemical testing on rubber and chemical raw materials
• Assist in test method development, including:• Topic 1: Improving the determination of percent devulcanization of reclaimed rubber
• Topic 2: Conducting a feasibility study on alternative methods for evaluating percent devulcanization, aimed at enhancing the characterization of reclaimed rubber
This role offers hands-on experience in material testing within a chemical laboratory environment.
Undergraduate degree with a background in Chemistry or other sciences.
1. Strong command of the English language
2. Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
