Intern - Internal Audit (11 Months)

As an Audit Intern in our Internal Audit Department, you will be responsible for assisting the team in executing the internal audit plan. This is a hands-on role that will provide you with a strong foundation in internal audit processes

Job Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning and execution of internal audit assignments, including risk assessment, audit scoping, and testing.
• Perform audit procedures, including reviewing and analysing financial statements, accounting records, internal controls (including IT)
• Identify and document control deficiencies and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to UK Banking industry.
• Support the team in various ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy Final (CA Intermediate completed)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, internal audit standards is a plus.
• Prior experience in a finance, audit, or IT controls compliance role is preferred but not required.
