The Opportunity
This is an exciting paid 6-12 month internship opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced and dynamic scale-up environment. As a Field Operations & Customer Success Intern, you will play a key role in executing serviced trials for both new and existing Aerobotics customers. You will be actively involved in on-farm data collection, trial execution, and operational support, helping ensure new and existing customers get meaningful value from our technology.
This is a highly practical, field-oriented role suited to someone who enjoys being outdoors, working with growers, and learning by doing so you will need to be based in California. You will gain first-hand exposure to how advanced AI technology is applied in real agricultural environments, with clear opportunities to grow your responsibilities over time.
What you’ll do
Customer Trials & Field Execution:
Drive the execution of serviced trials with growers, packhouses, and fruit companies
On-farm data collection using Aerobotics’ mobile tools
Ensure trials are run accurately, consistently, and according to best practice
Operational Support:
Carry out key operational activities that support customer success during the season
Help prepare trial outputs, summaries, and basic reporting for internal teams
Coordinate logistics and scheduling for field visits and customer engagements
Customer & Team Collaboration:
Work closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams
Support communication between customers and internal stakeholders
Gain exposure to customer onboarding, seasonal workflows, and post-trial follow-ups
Learning & Growth:
Learn how AI-driven insights are used to influence real farming decisions
Build a strong understanding of fruit production cycles and operational challenges
Gradually take on increased responsibility as skills and confidence grow
What you’ll need
Strong interest in agriculture, AgTech, or field-based work
Willingness to travel regularly to farming regions across California
Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license
Comfortable working outdoors and in operational farm environments
Curious, hands-on, and eager to learn
Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
Organized, reliable, and able to follow processes carefully
