A Day in the Life As an Intern in the Enabling Technologies team, you will gain hands-on experience supporting intra-operative technologies used in cranial and spinal procedures. This includes exposure to navigation systems, intra-operative imaging, and robotic-assisted surgery. You will learn how these technologies work together to ensure accurate and safe patient registration, while supporting healthcare professionals in the operating room (OR). Through practical experience, you will become familiar with the OR environment, key protocols, and best practices. You will work closely with a team consisting of a Manager, Sales Representative, and Technical Consultants, supporting them in achieving their yearly objectives. Internship details: • Start date: February / March 2026 • Location: Porto/Lisbon • Duration: 12 months • Work model: primarily on-site (field-based) with remote work • Working time: 40 hours per week Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: • Planning and preparing for surgical procedures, including participation in planning meetings • Providing on-site support in the operating room (OR) and remote support to customers via Microsoft Teams or phone • Troubleshooting technical issues with equipment or software • Completing daily documentation and activity reports • Traveling to support cases or customer needs within the assigned territory Required knowledge and Skills: • Recently graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Biomedical, Medical, or Electronics Engineering, Nursing, Imaging/Radiology, or a related field • Fluency in English and Portuguese • Very good knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) • Ability to travel within the national territory, along with a valid driving licence • Scientific and technical curiosity related to medical therapies and technologies Would be a plus: • Basic programming knowledge (e.g. MATLAB) • Spanish language skills Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
