The “Fine Print” – What You’ll Do

• Learn the workflow of preclinical development of novel cell therapies.

• Document experimental protocols and data generation in an organized manner.

• Isolate, culture, and phenotype primary immune cells.

• Develop and optimize assays to characterize the functionality of novel CAR T cell candidates.

• Genetic modification of cell lines and primary immune cells.

• Effectively communicate scientific findings to cross functional teams.

Skills and Experience We Look For

• BS with 1 year post-graduate relevant lab experience or MS in a relevant life sciences program (e.g. biological sciences, microbiology, genetics, biochemistry).

• Pursuing a graduate degree in Biological Sciences or related disciplines.

• Experienced with mammalian cell culture, aseptic technique, PCR, and antibody-based assays (ex ELISAs, flow cytometry, western blotting).

• Proficient with Graph pad prism and Microsoft Office products such as power point and excel.

• Excellent science communication skills who can work well in a collaborative team setting.

• Ability to work full time on-site at our Rockville, MD site.
