Intern C++ Software Engineer

Robotec.ai is a software company that develops hi-tech solutions for robotics and automotive industries. We help our customers build state-of-the-art robotic simulations and testing tools to ensure their machines work safely and efficiently. Our engineers also develop various R&D projects and products. We are currently looking for an entry level C++ Engineer to join our simulation team.

What you will do:

• Develop high-quality software, including for real-time applications (C++)
• Develop simulation modules using ROS 2 middleware (C++)
• Develop PoC algorithms related to confined areas of automation (Python, C++)
• Contribute to open-source project, mainly Open 3D Engine
• Write technical documents and reports

Requirements:
• University degree in Computer Science related field or being in the course of such studies
• Solid software engineering skills in C++
• Ability to solve problems
• Ability to read and write technical documentation in English
• Basic experience working under Linux (we use Ubuntu 22/24)
• Familiarity with modern development tools and practices such as git, code review, CI, unit testing
