The Role
We are looking for a passionate Business Intelligence Intern with career aspirations in a sports or entertainment sales and marketing environment. A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and willingness to take ownership are critical to success in this role. Attitude is key.
This is a hands on role, supporting the BI team across data management, analysis, visualization, and research. The intern is expected to produce accurate data outputs, analysis, and presentation materials using real business datasets and a range of in house and third party tools.
Key Responsibilities
Data management
Operate, under guidance, various existing syndicated data services and data platforms (to extract required data to various internal functions
Support in data cleaning, sanity check and consolidation from various data sources into master database and the maintenance of it
Data analysis
Support in basic data analysis under guidance to produce takeaway and insights for stakeholders.
Build automation and visualization for data presentation
Market research
Conduct market and industry research to support sales, strategy, and rights development initiatives
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline
Strong attention to detail and solid ability to interpret data are a must
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience in data consolidation, data analysis, and working with structured datasets
Strong PowerPoint skills, particularly in building clear charts, tables, and well‑structured presentation slides
Experience using statistical, database management, social media, and analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, R, Looker Studio, Google Analytics)
Knowledge of Python and/or SQL is an added value, particularly where it supports automation or more efficient data workflows
Thrives as part of an enthusiastic and energetic team, and is open to learning new skills and tools
Passion for data and the sports business
Storytelling skills and knowledge of Asian football are an advantage
