Klar is a Mexican fintech startup whose mission is to democratize and revolutionize the way in which financial services have been delivered so far in Mexico, especially since half of the population doesn’t have a bank account. We offer a rich set of products across our debit and credit offers and the future is bright for Klar! The position and your daily adventures

This is a part-time position based in our Mexico City office with a hybrid model, therefore we are looking forward to seeing you in our office 2-3 times per week. 

What you can expect:

You will be responsible for supporting the operation and analytical efforts at Klar.

Data analysis and presentation.

Identifying areas for improvement.

Automating processes.

Manual operations using our internal software applications.

You and your assets

What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Informatics or similar.

Advanced English. Most communication within Klar happens in English.

Intermediate/Advanced Excel. Knowledgeable in formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc.

Intermediate / Advanced in SQL

Basic Python 

Tableau is a plus

Non-technical (soft skills)

Problem-finder and problem-solver. You have the ability to tackle broad questions, identify the right problem to solve and generate solutions for it.

Self-starter and proactive. You do not require constant supervision; curiosity drives you to find new work streams that help the company’s goals.

Organized and structured. You plan, organize and structure your efforts in order to achieve the most effectiveness in a more efficient way.

Analytical and critical thinker. You leverage available data and search for new data points to make informed decisions; you do not go with the first hunch or the first answer, but test the answers against data and facts.

Good written and verbal communication skills. You know how to communicate your findings in a way that others can understand and leverage.

Collaborative. You like helping others and have no problem asking for help
