Intern AI Strategy (m/w/d)

Our AI Strategy team supports our customers in designing and implementing their data & AI strategy. In doing so, we always pursue the goal of enabling the full potential of data, data science and AI. Working closely with our clients, we take on a wide variety of strategic challenges, from the initial determination of the AI maturity level and the formulation of the data & AI strategy to the development and implementation of new operating models.

Your tasks:
Focus: Supporting AI strategy projects through structured project coordination

• You support the project lead in driving an AI strategy project in the financial services environment in a structured and goal-oriented manner
• You prepare planning artifacts such as timelines, roadmaps, and project overviews and keep them continuously up to date
• You maintain tasks, responsibilities, milestones, and dependencies in a project management tool and proactively collect status updates
• You ensure that open topics are clarified and agreed tasks are completed by consistently following up with stakeholders
• You organize meetings and workshops, prepare agendas, and document outcomes and decisions
• You structure and maintain project documentation, including folders, minutes, and working materials
• You prepare status updates and stakeholder communications and tailor content clearly and appropriately to different target audiences
• You contribute to the preparation of decision and steering documents, such as slides, one-pagers, and status reports

Your profile:
• You are currently enrolled in a degree program, for example in business, (business) informatics, data and AI, natural sciences, social sciences, engineering, or a comparable field
• You have a strong affinity for AI topics and have gained initial hands-on experience with common AI tools, which you use productively for structuring, research, and information preparation
• You quickly understand complex interdependencies, structure information effectively, and familiarize yourself with new topics efficiently
• You communicate complex topics clearly and appropriately, both in writing and verbally
• You have very good skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and work carefully and accurately with numbers and documents
• A basic understanding of project work, in both classical and agile settings, is an advantage
• You bring a high level of team orientation and customer focus
• You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Initial practical experience in strategy and/or consulting environments or in a project management role is a plus
