We invite a talented and proactive Intermediate Software Engineer with solid PHP experience and working knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.js to join our team. You’ll work with a leading provider of payment processing and payroll solutions to help develop a robust human capital management (HCM) platform that streamlines HR processes, boosts employee engagement, and simplifies payroll.

✅ Is that you?

• 6+ years of backend development experience with PHP
• Hands-on frontend experience with Angular, React.js, or similar
• Experience with MongoDB
• Solid understanding of API integrations
• Experience with unit testing and writing clean, maintainable code
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Upper-Intermediate+ English level
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and stay focused on routine tasks
• Adaptability, proactivity, and initiative in identifying issues and suggesting improvements
• Strong sense of ownership and commitment to visibility

Desirable:

• Hands-on experience with Zend Framework or strong familiarity with other PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
• Working knowledge of Node.js
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)

🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you’ll join our dynamic team in building and maintaining key parts of our client's HCM platform.

• Develop and maintain backend services using PHP (Zend)
• Build and support frontend features with Angular
• Write clean, testable code and ensure high standards through unit testing
• Review code and participate in technical design discussions
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and integration challenges
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and stakeholders to define and refine technical requirements
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to task estimation, sprint planning, and delivery
• Stay up to date with modern development trends, tools, and best practices
