Lead and inspire in commercial property and construction law at Buddle Findlay.

We have an outstanding opportunity for an intermediate/senior solicitor to join our dynamic property team, led by partners Paula Ormandy and Tom Bennett.

In this role you’ll take the lead on complex commercial property and construction matters, working with a broad client base including local government, crown entities, high profile corporates, and international clients.

You’ll manage challenging work such as acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing, subdivisions, developments, construction, and infrastructure projects.

You’ll play a pivotal role in mentoring junior lawyers, shaping strategy, and delivering exceptional results for our clients. You’ll be supported by our experienced partners, who are genuinely invested in your success and leadership development.

What we’re looking for:

At least five years’ relevant commercial property or construction experience, with proven leadership and mentoring skills

Strong commercial judgement and ability to manage complex matters independently

Passion, innovation, and a collaborative mindset.
