Position Overview

Lauren Services is seeking an Intermediate Pipeline Engineer with 4–10 years of total engineering experience to support engineering and EPCM projects. The successful candidate will contribute technical expertise, provide project deliverables, and ensure that projects meet quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Perform pipeline engineering activities in accordance with company standards, client requirements, and project specifications.

Ensure compliance with engineering procedures, contract requirements, and applicable codes and standards.

Support project scope development, participate in client and project team meetings, and provide technical input during bids and project execution.

Interface with Project Managers to achieve project objectives related to quality, budget, and schedule.

Conduct periodic site visits, support construction activities, and respond to RFIs as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta and/or British Columbia (or eligible for registration).

4–10 years of pipeline engineering and/or pipeline facilities experience, including valve sites, barrel sites, meter stations, Z662 compressor stations, and pump station piping.

Strong understanding of CSA Z662, ASME, API, and other relevant standards and regulations.

Skills and Attributes

Solid technical engineering capabilities with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Excellent understanding of regulatory codes and industry best practices.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members, project managers, site personnel, and clients.

Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage project challenges proactively.

Self-motivated with a focus on delivering high-quality work independently and within a team environment.

This role is in-office, based at the client's office near Surrey, British Columbia.
