As a trusted provider of behavioral health services across North and South Carolina, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Professional to lead and coordinate Intensive In-Home (IIH) services for youth at risk of out-of-home placement in Columbus County, NC. What You’ll Do:
As the Qualified Professional for IIH, you will lead the treatment planning and service delivery process, working directly with at-risk youth, families, and the Child and Family Team. You’ll ensure high-quality, person-centered care and serve as a critical link between families, clinicians, and support systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate services and ensure all care aligns with state licensure and service definition requirements
Facilitate comprehensive assessments to understand the needs and strengths of youth and families
Guide the development, implementation, and continuous monitoring of the Person-Centered Plan (PCP)
Collaborate with families, providers, and community resources to deliver individualized, wraparound support
Monitor client progress, analyze intervention outcomes, and adjust plans as needed to improve results
Provide clinical leadership and guidance to Associate Professionals and other team members
Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation, including service notes, progress updates, and reports
Participate in crisis intervention services and on-call rotation as needed
Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure ethical service delivery at all times
Actively participate in case reviews, team meetings, and staff development
Champion the mission of R&C by promoting consistency, empathy, and resilience in every interaction
Who You Are:
Experienced & Credentialed:
Bachelor’s degree in a human services field with 2+ years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree MH/DD/SA experience OR
Master’s degree in a human services field with 1+ year of post-graduate experience
Skilled Communicator & Problem Solver: You know how to connect, coach, and resolve
Process-Oriented: You love structure, accountability, and moving parts that work smoothly together
Mental Health Savvy: You’re knowledgeable about behavioral health needs, evidence-based interventions, and family systems
Compassionate & Culturally Aware: You build trust and rapport with people from all walks of life
Tech-Proficient: Comfortable with electronic documentation systems and Microsoft Office
Clear Background: Able to pass state, federal, and healthcare registry checks; available for random drug testing
Required Training & Certifications:
Before Hire: CPR/First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, NCI+ (Crisis Intervention)
Within 30 Days: Service note documentation, crisis response, IIH service definition
Within 90 Days: Person-Centered Thinking, Motivational Interviewing, System of Care (SOC), CBT (model-specific)
Annually: 10 hours minimum in CBT training
Preferred: Completion of the Strengthening Families Program (SFP 7-17)
