Job Description
ECAM is looking for talented individuals like you! Be the next Intelligence Analyst, Market Research.
The Intelligence Analyst is a deep researcher whose job is to find opportunity before the competition does. Using AI-powered tools, public data sources, permit databases, crime reports, industry publications, and social intelligence, this role builds detailed prospect profiles, uncovers active construction projects, identifies decision-makers by name and contact, and assembles the intelligence packages that U.S. sales reps use to walk into every conversation prepared.
This is not a data entry role. This is a strategic research role. The best Intelligence Analysts think like investigators — they start with a vertical or territory, ask what opportunities exist that the rep does not know about yet, and work backwards from that question using every tool available to find the answer.
Job Highlights:
-Day 1 HMO for you and two (2) of your dependents.
-Annual and Performance Based Salary Increase
-Additional Leave Credits
Duties & Responsibilities:
Market and Permit Research
Pull commercial building permit data weekly across all six U.S. field regions — flag new construction starts by vertical (retail, multifamily, logistics, industrial, mixed-use)
Track permit-to-project progression — identify when a permitted site is approaching the security-relevant phase of construction
Monitor local crime incident reports and police data by territory — identify high-activity corridors, repeat incident locations, and emerging theft or vandalism trends that create ECAM conversations
Research real estate development activity — new builds, ground breakings, master planned communities, commercial park expansions
Account and Contact Intelligence
Build complete prospect profiles for Market Activation Program accounts — company overview, decision-maker by name and title, direct contact information, LinkedIn profile, recent company news, identified pain points, and estimated deal size
Research enterprise target accounts for Strategic and ECAM Market — org charts, buying committee members, vendor contract timelines, RFP activity, and any public signals of security investment or initiative
Identify competitor installs (LVT, Zedcor, ProVigil) by territory using public data, job postings, social media, and industry sources — flag accounts where displacement conversation is viable
Track construction project databases (Dodge, ConstructConnect, BuildZoom) for active projects in target verticals and geographies
AI-Powered Research
Use large language models and AI research tools to accelerate and deepen prospect discovery — summarize industry news, extract contact information, identify buying signals, and build first-draft outreach context
Build and maintain AI-assisted research workflows that can be replicated across verticals and territories
Continuously test and adopt new AI tools that improve research depth, speed, or accuracy
Develop vertical-specific research templates — retail ORC intelligence, construction permit analysis, data center buildout tracking, utility infrastructure expansion
Qualifications:
Required
3+ years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, sales research, or investigative analysis — B2B environment strongly preferred
High proficiency with AI research tools and large language models — must be able to demonstrate practical use of AI to accelerate research output
Excellent written English — research deliverables are read by U.S. sales reps and leadership
Strong analytical mindset — comfortable working with incomplete information and drawing actionable conclusions
Attention to detail and high accuracy standard — bad contact information or wrong decision-makers waste rep time
Preferred
Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo, Clearbit, or similar contact intelligence platforms
Familiarity with U.S. construction permit databases or commercial real estate data sources
Understanding of U.S. commercial real estate, retail, logistics, or security industries
Experience building research templates or playbooks that can be used by a team
Background in investigative journalism, competitive intelligence, or business analysis
