JANA will be holding an in person Hiring Event on June 10, 2025, from 9 am - 4 pm ET at a location in York Region, Ontario. This will be a unique, fun, interactive day where we'll explore your creativity, problem solving skills, technical knowledge, passions and drive! It will be a combination of group activities and 1-on-1 conversations that gives us a chance to get to know you, and you a chance to experience a bit of the JANA Way. Please only apply if you're able to attend for the entire time. Note that you will be sent a questionnaire with pre-screening questions and selected candidates will be invited to the hiring event.
JANA is focused on improving the integrity of gas pipeline systems through the application of advanced risk modeling technologies. Our models and software are defensible and highly predictive, allowing gas pipeline operators to take actions to reduce risk in their systems. And our Integrity Data suite enables pipeline operators to finally capture their pipeline asset data and unlock the value associated with this data.
JANA’s Integrity Analysts execute the engineering aspects of software implementations, converting them into a usable form to perform risk analysis on specific pipeline assets. The Integrity Analyst interacts with JANA’s Product Development, Product Design, Quality, and Project Management teams.
JANA’s Integrity Analysts are responsible for the creation of data staging, transformation, and validation of scripts. They work on data assessment, governance, and subsequent improvement of recommendations and implementation. The Integrity Analyst will be key in identifying risks and threats through their analysis of asset-specific information. They must be able to multitask and work cross-functionally, communicating with all parties involved.
Responsibilities
Assists in the creation of data staging, transformation, and validation scripts using SQL
Assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
Supports data quality and governance improvement opportunities
Works with large volumes of client and industry data (structured and unstructured).
Writes reports and validate results
Ensures pipeline integrity-related issues are appropriately addressed in risk modelling approaches
Performs risk analysis on specific pipeline assets
Reviews and analyses of asset-specific information to identify risks and threats
Performs detailed engineering calculations
Executes on engineering aspects of Integrity Management software implementations
Meets directly with the client's business users in implementation workshops
Required Skills & Experience
Undergraduate degree in a STEM field, preferably in Engineering
1 – 2 years’ experience in SQL Server and Python
Experience in pipeline operations or risk management knowledge is considered an asset
Experience with data analysis and statistical techniques is highly valued
Client-facing and/or software implementation experience preferred
Experience in the Microsoft Suite
Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Ability to work on tight deadlines
This role requires travel within Canada and the US on an as-needed basis up to 10% of time
Must be able to attend our in person Hiring Day event on June 10, 2026 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in York Region
