As an Integrations Test Automation Engineer, your role will be central to ensuring the high quality and reliability of the Digital Patient Experience API and Batch Integrations portfolio.  Your focus will be on designing, developing, maintaining and managing robust automated test suites, defining API and Integrations strategy, implementing best practices and associated processes to support the Sanofi Digital space. This position combines a deep understanding of API and Integration modelling/methodologies along with a strong technical background in Postman, Python, Selenium and/or OCR automation frameworks.

Main Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled API Integrations Test Automation Engineer with strong experience automating REST API, UI, Data Integrity and exposure to web, backend, Salesforce Health Cloud and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-8 years of experience in software test automation and/or software development and keen experience working with API and Integrations, exposure to various automation frameworks and programming languages such as Java, Python and Robotic Testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to support API and Batch Integration testing web applications, with expertise using Copado Robotic Testing and/or OCR automation tools.

• Perform integration testing to ensure seamless interaction between different system components.

• Ownership of API collections and proven experience leveraging tools such as Postman, PyTest, JMeter or similar tools.

• Identify, document, and track defects and issues in JIRA, and work with the development, test and business teams to resolve.

• Understanding of the Salesforce API’s and automation strategies for seasonal releases in multiple Salesforce lower environments.

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines by identifying and integrating API and/or Batch Integration automated tests.

• Work closely with functional test teams, development teams and business partners to understand new features and identify automatable components.

• Develop test automation scripts using Copado Robotic Testing disciplines, proven Python programming language expertise, exposure to open-source frameworks such as Selenium, exposure to the JAVA programming language.

• Work closely with scrum masters, product owners and manual test teams to establish and maintain stories, tasks and defects in JIRA to ensure delivery of operational and project work items as related to API and Batch Integration automation

• Performance & Support: Optimize automation performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide automation support for various deployments.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or Engineering/related field or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in test software automation development, specifically API methodologies.

• Exposure to Copado Robotic Testing or OCR based automation test tools.

• Proven expertise in building and maintaining automated API test scripts/suites using OCR automation models. Experience working with Batch Integration disciplines is also beneficial.

• Experience with source code control, build, and CI/CD toolchains.

• Experience automating or developing test scripts specific to Salesforce API payload and heartbeat testing.

• Experience with Jira and XRay, or similar project and test management applications.

• You have a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• You have high level of initiative and ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.

• Collaborating with functional test teams to design, build, and optimize automated test scripts/solutions and reporting.

• Monitoring automation performance and troubleshooting issues.

• Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

• Test Automation/Development knowledge in Salesforce Health Cloud, Python, REST API, Java and GitHub

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices to streamline development and deployment workflows.
