About the Role:

We are looking for an Integrations Engineer to own the health and reliability of Toppie(our demand side product) across the marketplaces it runs on. This is a highly technical, product-adjacent role sitting at the intersection of ad tech, marketplace infrastructure, and automation engineering.

You won't just react to breakages — you'll build the systems and processes to catch issues before they ever reach a campaign or a reporting dashboard. You'll become the deepest expert on how Toppie behaves across every marketplace integration, and you'll use that knowledge to raise the bar on implementation quality across the board.

What You'll Do

• End-to-End Assessment of Toppie Display Ads: Run systematic technical audits across the full Toppie display ad stack — from bid request construction and auction participation through creative rendering, impression tracking, and reporting pipelines. Pinpoint discrepancies between expected and observed behavior, reproduce issues in controlled environments, and produce detailed findings that engineering teams can act on immediately.

• Map and Document Marketplace Constraints: Build and maintain a living technical reference of each marketplace's integration constraints — API rate limits, supported ad formats, auction mechanics, event tracking gaps, and reporting inconsistencies. Translate these constraints into concrete engineering guidance and flag blockers that require product or architectural decisions.

• Own Technical Discovery & Demos: Lead technical conversations with marketplace partners and internal stakeholders to validate integration assumptions and surface edge cases early. Run structured demos of Toppie's capabilities to align on what's technically feasible within each marketplace's environment, and feed those learnings back into implementation standards.

• Drive Integration Improvements: Not only flag issues but also own the path to fixing them. Identify recurring failure patterns, advocate for root-cause fixes over workarounds, and partner directly with product and engineering to spec and ship improvements.

• Build Automated Health Checks & Monitoring: Design and implement automated test suites and monitoring tooling that continuously validate Toppie integrations at scale. Define SLIs for integration health (latency, fill rate, event delivery accuracy), build alerting pipelines that catch regressions before they surface in campaign performance, and maintain runbooks for rapid triage.

What (we think) you need to be successful

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from top schools preferred

• 2+ years of experience in integrations engineering, ad tech, or a closely related technical domain

• Hands-on experience with display advertising pipelines — familiarity with auction mechanics, ad serving, impression tracking, and reporting is a strong plus

• Strong proficiency with APIs (RESTful), data formats (JSON, XML), and debugging tooling

• Experience building or maintaining automated monitoring, health-check systems, or integration test suites

• Analytical mindset — you're comfortable reading logs, writing queries, and following a signal through multiple systems to its root cause

• Ability to work across ambiguous problem spaces and define structure where none exists

• Strong written and verbal communication — you can turn a technical finding into a clear recommendation for a non-technical audience
