Integrations Architect  (Salesforce & Mulesoft)

About You

You are an experienced Integration Architect who enjoys defining enterprise-level integration strategies and ensuring systems work together in a scalable, secure, and standardized way. You are comfortable owning architectural decisions, guiding technical teams, and collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders. You thrive in regulated environments and enjoy applying industry frameworks—such as BIAN—to design robust integration solutions for banking and financial services.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience as an Integration Architect, with a strong focus on Salesforce and MuleSoft ecosystems.
• Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API-led connectivity.
• Solid experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations with enterprise systems.
• Required knowledge of BIAN (Banking Industry Architecture Network) and its application in integration design.
• Experience defining and governing enterprise integration architectures, particularly in banking or financial services contexts.
• Strong understanding of API design, security, scalability, and reusability principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Advanced English proficiency, as you will collaborate with cross-functional and client-facing teams.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the Salesforce and MuleSoft integration architecture across the enterprise.
• Design and govern integrations between Salesforce, MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform), and core banking systems.
• Ensure adherence to the standard integration architecture for retail banking (banca de personas).
• Apply BIAN service domains and integration concepts in solution design and architectural decisions.
• Define, document, and enforce API-led connectivity standards and best practices using MuleSoft.
• Provide architectural leadership and technical guidance to Salesforce and integration development teams.
• Review and validate solution designs to ensure scalability, security, performance, and reusability.
• Support architecture governance, design reviews, and technical decision-making forums.
• Act as a key point of reference for integration architecture topics across stakeholders and teams.
