Senior Integration & Test Engineer – TS/SCI Clearance Required

Location: Aurora, CO (On-site)Clearance: Active TS/SCI (with ability to obtain Polygraph)Employment Type: Contract or Contract-to-hire
Salary: $115,000 - $135,000 annually with full Government benefits (W-2)

About the Program

This program supports the development of next-generation satellite mission management and command-and-control systems for U.S. defense and intelligence operations. The selected engineer will play a key role on a large-scale satellite ground system initiative, providing leadership and technical direction to Agile software development teams while ensuring all system components are properly integrated, verified, and validated before release to operations.

This position is 100% on-site in Aurora, Colorado.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Integration and Test Engineer to lead and execute test strategies for a high-visibility satellite ground system program. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, program leadership, and government stakeholders to ensure mission-critical systems meet all performance and reliability requirements.

You will be responsible for executing the integration and test architecture, developing and maintaining the verification strategy, and driving validation efforts across multiple software and hardware subsystems.

Key Responsibilities

•
Execute the program’s test strategy, including test process development, baseline definition, and system verification and validation.

•
Lead integration and test activities across Agile software development teams.

•
Collaborate with technical leads, program managers, and government representatives to ensure alignment and test readiness.

•
Direct and support a multidisciplinary team consisting of internal staff, subcontractors, and leased labor.

•
Conduct regression testing, resolve discrepancy reports, and support system troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications You Must Have

•
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).

•
5+ years of experience as an Integration and/or Test Engineer in a software development environment.

•
Proven experience with system troubleshooting, test execution, and defect resolution.

•
Active and transferable TS/SCI clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

•
Ability to obtain a Polygraph after hire.

Qualifications We Prefer

•
Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).

•
Familiarity with automated test tools such as Cucumber.

•
Experience with PostgreSQL databases.

•
Proficiency in Linux operating systems.

•
Experience working in Agile development environments.

•
Python scripting for automation or analysis.

•
Background supporting large-scale software lifecycle programs.

•
Experience with mission management systems or ground systems.

•
Background in Systems Engineering, Software Architecture, or System Architecture.

•
Knowledge of containerization and cloud computing technologies.
